I haven’t bought a small bag of Smith’s Chips in quite some time. Their basic flavours are quite boring to me, but my kids like them. The Smith’s Double Crunch Flamin’ Hot 2x Crunch Cheese Chips definitely caught my eye. I think I got them at 7-11.

As a fan of spicy, cheesy and crunchy chips, Smith’s Double Crunch range is definitely one I should have paid more attention to before now. The texture is very crunchy, almost like a Dorito, but without the graininess of corn chips. While claiming to be Smith’s hottest chip yet, I’ve definitely had hotter chips from other brands. But this mix of spice with a hint of cheese is actually really nice, and I smashed this bag in 5 minutes or less.

I would definitely recommend this if you’re after a mass-market spicy potato chip in Australia.
