This is definitely tender and described on the packaging. The texture is quite good and it is just a basic salty flavour and has definitely attracted both of my cats since opening it. Of all the jerky and biltong products I’ve even lately this is definitely one that has attracted my cats and it’s certainly a fine product.
That being said, a lot of the dried meat products I’ve reviewed were eaten at my office without any cats present.
I would say this is a good texture and flavour with a tiny hint of spice and an easy eat for most.
With Chilli
I definitely prefer this over the original one I reviewed, I prefer my biltong and jerky to be spicy. At this point I feel like comparing it to the most similarly named competitor – Original Beef Chief which also does jerky. I would say that this is a tougher chew than the biltong than Original Beef Chief’s range. It is a very simple chilli flavour, but seems to be consistently good in every bite. I would encourage this chilli over the original flavour.
