I saw these on the counter of 7-Eleven, and they may have been part of a deal. I recall buying 3 interesting packets of chips that day, as 7-Eleven seems to be the place that gets a lot of the interesting flavours early (or exclusively).
These curled-up Dorito corn chips are bright red, indicating the heat and remind me of the shape of Takis (an American product). My coworker said they look like cigarettes.
Overall, these are indeed quite hot for a commercially produced corn chip in Australia. The curled shape gives it a really big crunch compared to regular corn chips, and the lime adds a very satisfying tang to it.
Apart from maybe the 1.5/5 health star rating on it, I can’t really fault this product at all. But again, I never buy snacks at 7-Eleven for my health…
